With its Scandinavian simplicity and glossy, shiny surface, the Oblong lamp is not afraid to attract attention. The geometric shapes combine to create a truly iconic look.
Depending on how you position the lamp, you can go for a slim or wide profile. To turn it on, there’s a discreet button at the front, and the beam of light is well dispersed and points downwards to avoid glare. There is a choice of three light levels, depending on whether you want a reading light or accent lighting, e.g. on a bookcase, on a shelf or in a window.
The VE2 design team designed the lamp. The lamp is robust enough to be taken outside, but should be stored indoors. Battery life is up to eight hours at full brilliance, and recharging is easy thanks to the included mini-USB cable.
